Kevin:   I married up and we have one amazing daughter. We live in Boston, Massachusetts. Art-making has always been one of my passions. I have studied painting with a number of teachers. First I went to Boston University’s  School of Fine Arts.  I graduated design school (Massachusetts College of Art) in 1993 with a BA in Industrial Design. I’ve worked as a designer and a design manager in the footwear business for the past 14 years and it’s been very good to me.   At the same time, I’ve always been drawn to visual storytelling… first in comics and then in illustrated books. Children’s books can be magical and wonderful and full of ideas. My late father was a writer and I have illustrated a dummy for a book he wrote over 40 years ago. Currently, it is being shopped sequentially to publishers. You will see some of the pages in the gallery on this site (the EK pages). I’ve designed a number of theater posters and a few book covers. A few of these are also here. Illustration in general is great fun for me.  I hope you enjoy the site. Let me know what you think.
